Nigeria PAYE Calculator 2026 Individual/Bulk Payroll Upload

🇳🇬 Nigeria PAYE Calculator 2026 – Individual & Bulk Payroll Upload | Brattle Multiconcepts

🇳🇬 Nigeria PAYE Calculator 2026 – Individual & Bulk Payroll Upload 🧮

Based on the Nigeria Tax Act, 2025 – Calculate for one employee or upload Excel/CSV for bulk processing

🇳🇬 Effective 1 January 2026 — Nigeria Tax Act 2025

Before you start, please note

  • Exempt income: employees earning ₦840,000 or less a year (the annualised national minimum wage) pay no PAYE at all — this is separate from, and in addition to, the ₦800,000 zero-rate tax band that applies to everyone above that threshold.
  • Currency: all figures must be in Nigerian Naira (₦). If your salary is paid in a foreign currency, convert it to Naira before entering it here.
  • Cash and non-cash pay: annual employment income includes salary, fees, bonuses, gains, and the taxable value of benefits in kind — not basic salary alone.
  • Consolidated Relief Allowance (CRA) has been scrapped under the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 and is not used in this calculator. It has been replaced by rent relief and other targeted deductions.
  • Evidence required: tax authorities typically require proof of remittance (e.g. lease agreements, pension and NHF remittance schedules) before reliefs on statutory contributions and rent can be claimed.

  • Cash and non-cash pay: annual employment income includes salary, fees, bonuses, gains, and benefits in kind — not basic salary alone
  • Pension: the mandatory employee contribution is 8% of Basic + Housing + Transport (BHT). Any pension contributed on emoluments above BHT should be entered as a voluntary contribution
  • NHF contributions are typically 2.5% of gross income for employees earning above ₦3,000 monthly
  • Documentation Required: evidence of remittance (lease agreements, receipts, pension/NHF schedules) is typically required by the tax authority before reliefs on rent and statutory contributions can be claimed
